In plain words
The app collects nothing: audio and transcripts never leave your machine. The site stores your email, purchase records and hashed machine ids, and nothing else.
What the app collects
Nothing. In detail:
- Audio is processed in memory on your machine and discarded. It is never uploaded.
- Transcripts are written to your disk only. We cannot read them.
- There is no telemetry in the transcription path.

The app's only network calls are the one time model download and, if you enter a
license key, a license check that sends the key, a salted hash of a machine
identifier, the platform name and the app version. The check is cached for 30 days.
What the site collects
- Your email address, if you create an account or contact us.
- Purchase records: date, amount, Stripe identifiers and receipt links. Never card numbers.
- Salted hashes of activated machine identifiers, with a label you can edit.
- Download events (which file, when, a hashed IP) for abuse prevention.
- Aggregate, cookieless analytics via Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Processors
Four services process data on our behalf:
- Supabase hosts accounts and the database.
- Stripe processes payments and holds card details we never see.
- Cloudflare serves the site and stores release files.
- Resend delivers transactional email.
Retention and deletion
Account data is kept while the account exists. Email
support@eddyloop.com to delete your account; purchase
records required for tax and accounting are retained as law requires, everything else is
removed.
