In plain words
The app collects nothing: audio and transcripts never leave your machine. There are no accounts, no payments and no database. The site handles a contact message if you send one, and counts downloads without keeping who made them.
What the app collects
Nothing. In detail:
- Audio is processed in memory on your machine and discarded. It is never uploaded.
- Transcripts are written to your disk only. We cannot read them.
- There is no telemetry, and there is no account to sign in to.

The app makes no network call of its own accord. The only request it ever makes is
downloading a speech model, once, when you choose one. That download goes to Hugging
Face, not to us, and like any download it shows your IP address to the server serving
it. Nothing you say or transcribe is ever sent anywhere.
What the site collects
- The contact form. Your email address, the topic and your message are
relayed to us as email through Resend. We keep them in the mailbox that receives them,
as we would any email. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a human sent the form, and a
counter keyed on your IP address, held for at most about an hour, limits how many
messages one address can send.
- Downloads. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a human asked for the
file. To rate limit, the server takes a one-way SHA-256 hash of your IP address and
uses it as a counter key, which expires within about an hour. That hash is not written
to the download record and is not otherwise retained.
- The download count. Each download is counted in Cloudflare Workers
Analytics Engine, recording only the version, the platform and the filename. Nothing
in that record identifies you.
What there is none of
- No accounts, no sign in, no passwords.
- No payments. Nothing is sold, so there are no payment records and no card processor.
- No database. Nothing above is kept in one.
- No cookies for tracking, no advertising and no third party analytics scripts.
Processors
Two services process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare serves the site, runs the download and contact endpoints,
provides the Turnstile check and stores the installers in R2. As the infrastructure the
site runs on, Cloudflare handles ordinary request metadata, including your IP address,
under its own terms.
- Resend relays contact form messages to us as email.
Retention
The rate limit counters expire on their own within about an hour. The download count
holds no personal data. A contact message stays in our mailbox until we delete it; ask
through the contact form and we will delete yours.

Privacy questions go through the contact form. The data
controller is Aztec Platforms, LLC.
